There are a few instruments added to make it sound a little different, though. Cool Wind follows a similar pattern, almost as if it is an extension of its immediate predecessor on the soundtrack. Using a variety of instruments from the violin to the piano to the tambourine, it creates a soothing, slow-paced song that perfectly captures the daily life of the first act. Reunion seems to focus on the slice-of-life tone of the initial parts of the story, only it sounds like the composers actually gave a crap instead of making it sound generic. Back to the Night also creates a similar kind of ominous feel to it’s predecessor’s title screen theme, complete with the sound of rattling chains. It’s a fairly good opening theme, and it does have the kind of feel a Fate visual novel would have. The soundtrack opens with Ataraxia, a vocal song with ambient electronic beats, along with some violins and a piano for occasional variety.

Many talented composers have worked on the Fate series since then, but none of them really stand out as much as Fate/Stay Night Realta Nua’s soundtrack.Īnd Hollow Ataraxia’s soundtrack isn’t going to change my mind anytime soon. When I first read Fate/Stay Night, I was captivated by how well the pieces fit into the scenes presented, and how a good majority of them stood out from outside the game.

As of me writing this, there is no way to get the voice acting onto the PC version of the game. One of my favorite parts about the Fate series is the music. It is the newly added voice acting that really makes that version better. While the game looks sharper on the Vita screen and from what I can tell it has been touched up a bit. However, the game was then re-released in 2014 for the PlayStation Vita with various enhancements. The artwork is fantastic as is the music, it has that quality you would expect from this series. You see this game was originally released on PC all the way back in 2005.

In talking about the presentation of Fate/hollow ataraxia we have to talk about two different things. However, the fun you get out of it does all depend on how familiar you are with this franchise. There is a fair bit to keep you entertained in this game. You do also have some mini-games that you can take part in which help keep things interesting and also serve as a way for you to unlock other CGs. One of the things that does set this apart from other visual novels is that it offers more than just reading and making choices. There is a lot to see and unlock in this game with a few risqué scenes thrown in too. The time travel nature of the game makes this more interesting in my opinion. Like the other games in the series, Fate/hollow ataraxia has different routes that you can pick as you progress through the story. Like anything that deals with time travel it may be a tad messy, but Over And Over Again Of course, trying to figure out why this is happening and what caused it makes up the plot of the game.

Shiro is also involved and while he is living the good life after the war, through a series of events, a time loop is created that sees Bazett and Shiro living the same four days of the Fifth Holy Grail war over and over again.
